A great hands on introduction to pottery and firing for youth. Students will learn how to prepare clay for working, learn basic throwing techniques, explore surface decoration and textures, and making pottery forms in these 6 classes.

About this class:
“I started my clay experience at the age of 13 and had a strong school district program throughout high school. The object of this class is to provide a strong ceramic resource to that same age group.” DGC
A crash course on wheel throwing and handbuilding. Students will learn how to prepare clay for working, learn basic throwing techniques, explore surface decoration and textures, and making pottery forms in these 6 classes. Open studio times are included, Thursdays 12-6:30, Saturday and Sunday 11-5:00.
Price includes instruction, all materials and firings.
