About Wood Fire Workshop

The wood fire process is an experience with history, all 5 senses and involves some physical labor beyond making the pots. Wood firing is another tool in the process as the fire, wood ash and temperature all permanently mark the work in the kiln.

Workshop fee includes 25 lb. of clay, bisqueing of pots and glazes included. This is a 3-day commitment:

• 5-6 hours first day loading
• 6-8 hours day of firing for a “shift”
• 2 hours to unload and pack 4-5 days after the firing is completed
