A great hands on introduction to pottery for youth. Students will learn how to prepare clay for working, explore surface decoration and textures, learn basic throwing techniques and making pottery forms on Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday participants will glaze a piece from Monday as well as premade pieces for them to glaze and participate in a Raku firing. Thursday will be for any clay finishing and for glazing finished pieces from Monday and Tuesday.
Ages 14–18, no experience necessary. Limit 6 students, instructor Daisy Goldstein Cross.

Price includes clay, tools, glazes and the Raku firing. Participants should wear clothes to get dirty in!
